An Accident that Happened on Friday 19th September 2025 Around 7:50 Involving a Bike Man and Two Students in Igbajo Polytechnic Claiming the Life of the Bike Man While the Two Students are Being Hospitalized

A tragic accident occurred in the early hours of Friday, September 19, 2025, around 7:50 a.m. near the premises of Igbajo Polytechnic, Osun State. The incident involved a commercial motorcyclist identified as Shadow, and two students of the institution, Emmanuel and Israel.

According to eyewitnesses, Shadow, a popular bike man in the Igbajo community, was conveying the students to school when he collided with an oncoming vehicle. The impact of the crash was so severe that he lost his life on the spot.

Despite their injuries, Emmanuel and Israel managed to quickly call for help, and passersby rushed to the scene. The likes of Mr. Ojelabi and the school rector also stepped in to ensure the students were transported without much delay. The two students were taken to a nearby hospital, where medical personnel confirmed that both are receiving treatment and are in critical but stable condition.

Meanwhile, the driver of the vehicle involved in the collision was initially arrested by security operatives but was later released. This development sparked uproar among the students, who expressed their dissatisfaction and demanded justice for Shadow. The tension was eventually calmed after the school management and community leaders intervened to settle the matter.
